With the summer season kicking into high gear, it's time to take the cover off the grill and make up for lost time. This Spare Rib recipe is sure to please at your Memorial Day Picnic or 4th of July Party. With the help of Mis' Rubin's Black Magic, you might need to double or triple the recipe, because people will definitely be coming back for seconds.

6 lbs. spareribs

3/4 c. apple cider vinegar

1 tbsp. pepper (to taste)

1 bay leaf

1 tsp. liquid smoke

1/3 c. seasoned salt

1/4 c. paprika

1/4 c. Mis' Rubin's Black Magic

Cut up the spareribs and place in a large pot with vinegar, pepper, a sprinkle of Mis' Rubin's Black Magic, bay leaves and liquid smoke. Fill pot with water. Parboil for approximately 45 minutes.

While ribs are parboiling, make a dry rub. Mix seasoned salt, paprika and charcoal seasoning. Once ribs are cooked through, remove from liquid. Apply a generous amount of the dry rub to the ribs. Place ribs on preheated outdoor grill and cook, turning as needed, until desired browning is achieved.

"Black Magic Seasoning is the best seasoning for beef that I have ever tried.  I have been using it for 15 years and I will not use any other seasoning.  I use the White Magic on eggs and potatoes, and vegetables.  Black Magic and White Magic bring out an excellent flavor to food.  Both are a staple in my kitchen." - Eva DeGregory
